Time: 6-8.30pm
Join ceramic artist Sharron Mountain for a workshop on glazing. Those who have made work and want to add more than one colour and learn a range of creative techniques, this workshop is for you.
- Bring along your Bisque fired pieces or leatherhard, depending on the techniques you aim to explore.
- In the time of theworkshop you should be able to glaze - 1 to 3 mug or bowl size pieces pieces in the time available for this workshop.
- Your creations will be fired for you and will be ready for pick up in around 2-3 weeks later.
- This workshop is for all levels of experience
- Midfire / stoneware clay suitable , no EARTHENWARE clay please. Speak with Sharron if you have any questions regarding this.
Allow yourself to be inspired by the beautiful forms and surface shared by S.Mountain Ceramics to create a glaze finish which takes your work to another level.
What's included:
- Glaze colours for mug to bowl size pieces. Larger pieces may incur extra charges depending on the size of your piece/s.
- Glaze Firing to 1200 degrees, setters,sanding and packing are included.
- As required, notes and instruction on techniques to get the best out of your glazes

- No refunds prior to 72 hours, but deposit is transferable.
How do I make payment?
- Bookings are only secured through payment. Get in quick, as places are limited. Payment via deposit or full amount online. Online, EFT or in Cash - EFT & Cash payments do not incur an admin fee.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
- Minimum age 10 + years. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
- Parking on the verge outside the property on Chapman parade.
What can I bring into the event?
- You must have Bisque fired ceramic pieces in MID FIRE CLAY. No Earthenware clay.
- All materials and equipment, firing of your ceramic pieces, morning tea, hot drinks & good coffee are included in the course cost.
