Build bigger pots with confidence

Date: 21st of March 2026

Time: 10-4pm

Join Sharron for a one-day immersive workshop in her Blue Mountains studio, a calm and meditative space designed for slow, focused making.

This workshop is dedicated to building larger ceramic forms by hand, with a focus on developing confidence and control when working at scale.

What will you make:

You’ll explore pedestal feet, the ergonomics of working on larger forms, and practical strategies for building successfully with coils, while learning how to cut into your work as you build to create pattern and surface interest that is fully integrated into the form.

Coiling is embraced as an intuitive, thoughtful method of making in this workshop. The slower pace gives you time to pause, reflect, and respond to the clay as ideas evolve. Surrounded by the quiet rhythm of the mountains, you’ll be supported to work intentionally, deepen your handbuilding practice, and create forms that feel considered, grounded, and resolved. No experience required.

Come along and meet new friends or book a group of friends for a creative adventure. Bookings are only secured through payment.
